Haiti Earthquake Relief
As Christ followers, we want to reflect and embody God’s love to the people deeply affected by this crisis. We are engaged with Samaritan's Purse, a global Christian organization whose mission includes supplying immediate and critical relief and emergency medical care in disaster situations.
As information and clarity form, we are evaluating the best ways to invest and respond with resources. Please consider giving to the Haiti Relief fund (instructions to the right). Note that Samaritan's Purse is focusing on two primary goals:
* Family Survival Kit - $45
* Temporary Shelter (plastic/wood) - $100
Stay tuned, and keep praying for the people of Haiti and the Samaritan's Purse teams as they mobilze and decide where to focus their efforts.
Please pray for the Haitian church as they grieve deeply and are called to action and ministry. Initial reports indicate that in many areas the believers could be heard singing praise songs as they removed debris to draw strength and unity as they work.
Please praise God that relief partners have large stocks of emergency food, water, and first aid medical resources already on the ground in this region and are distributing to those in greatest need.
