  <title>Unfair and Uncomfortable</title>
<description>What religion is powerless to do, GOD did!

Face it. Religion can get pretty strange pretty quickly.
Mystical. Superstitious. Legalistic. Judgmental. Hypocritical.

But religion isn’t going away.

The human race has an insatiable curiosity regarding the divine. Since the beginning of time, men and women have established elaborate rituals and traditions in an attempt to bridge the gap between the seen and the unseen; between the sacred and the secular.

And while each of these systems provided formulas for communicating with and securing the blessings of a particular deity, none provided the one thing humankind most desires—assurance.

But with the birth of Christianity, all of that changed.

In this 4-part series, you will learn how the message of Christ serves as the fulfillment of religion.

  <title>Pray Until the Peace Comes</title>
<description>How do we remain hopeful in a world that seems to be hopelessly broken?

How do we continue to trust a God that seems to be conspicuously absent?

How do we maintain peace when the world around us is spinning out of control?

If you have ever asked QUESTIONS like these, you are not alone . . . and you are not the first. The Bible is filled with stories of men and women who asked similar questions.

Why?

Because UNCERTAINTY is nothing new. And the uncertainty we face today is no different than the uncertainty faced by the men and women of the Bible whose stories have inspired us for generations. Chances are your favorite Bible stories involve people whose circumstances left them questioning God’s faithfulness. His presence. His concern. But in time, these men and women experienced God’s faithfulness. In the end, they, like us, were reminded that . . .

HE’S STILL* GOT THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HANDS.

  <title>Lost: Rescued</title>
<description>When it comes to personal finances, it is easy to be lost and not even know it. Some of us start off with bad maps or perhaps take an accidental wrong turn or maybe get distracted by something we think we need. Whatever the reason, once we realize we are lost, how can we find our way back? The task can be daunting, but the good news is that God has given us clear directions to guide the way.

In this 5-part series, Buck will walk us through some of Jesus’ counter-cultural teachings about money management and reveals the truth that we can’t wholeheartedly follow Christ when we’re lost financially. That’s why Jesus said more about this subject than any other.
